Ogilvy won tender for PR and communication for dm
Ogilvy Agency has won the tender for PR agency for the dm drogerie chain and will provide complete communication services for the brand. The cooperation will focus on the creation and communication of brand and product themes, media relations, profiling of key people behind the brand and PR support for the brand's long-term thematic strategy, which includes, for example, women's health or sustainability.
The selection process was a two-round procedure and six invited agencies took part. The main subject of cooperation is to support the brand and strategic brand themes in the field of PR and communication and to set up or strengthen dialogue with key media and other stakeholders. Priority will be given to focusing on thematic areas such as healthy lifestyle, sustainability, customer access, women's health and generally boosting women's self-esteem.
"We believe that the creative approach of Ogilvy's agency team will bring new impulses to our communications and help us better reflect the values that are central to our brand. In Ogilvy, we are gaining a strong and experienced partner who will help us with the strategic building and further development of our brand and we look forward to implementing projects together," says Jiří Peroutka, Communications Manager at dm.
The theme of women's health and self-confidence is written into the long-term communication line of dm and all the activities of the brand. It will also be partly the focus of the upcoming January activities, the communication direction of which is already being developed in cooperation with the new agency.
"We built the tender offer on a creative grasp of the brief, working with data, engaging influencers and the target group of men, who are not usually targeted by communications on topics related to women's health," says Václav Rambousek, PR Director at Ogilvy. dm has also been cooperating with the media agency Wavemaker, which, like Ogilvy, belongs to the WPP group and will take advantage of this synergy in setting up cooperation with agencies.
