Martin Svetlík is the new chairman of the Art Directors Club
Martin Svetlík, Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy, has been elected the new chairman of the Czech Art Directors Club, succeeding Miky Karas in the role.
In his presentation Created for Impact, Svetlík built on the club’s existing direction and outlined his priorities for the next two years. His main focus is enhancing the reputation of the ADC Czech Creative Awards as the flagship showcase of Czech advertising. ADC also plans to continue its initiatives for young talent and further strengthen the position of the Czech ADC within ADC*Europe.
“After six years of active involvement in ADC, I still see the club’s vision as meaningful and necessary for the market. But without implementation, any vision remains just words on paper. That’s why we want to focus on areas where we can create the biggest impact with the resources we have — including a renewed emphasis on the prestige of the ADC Awards,” Svetlík said after his election, outlining his vision for the next two years.
